Resignation of Liverpool vice-chairman

Liverpool F.C. vice-chairman Mr. Harry Latham will not be seeking re-election to the board of directors at the club’s annual meeting to-night.

A director for the past 11 years, Mr. Latham is resigning for personal reasons.

There are two nominations for the vacancy – Alderman Arthur Collins, chairman of the Liverpool and Bootle Police Authority, and Mr. John W. Smith, director of Walker Cain, Ltd, the Liverpool brewery firm.
