Liverpool manager Bill Shankly stepped out of the limelight today for his daughter Jeanette’s big day – her wedding Jeanette, a 21-years-old secretary, married student teacher Geoff Carline, aged 23, of Old Swan, at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Knotty Ash. The couple left for a short honeymoon after the reception for 60 guests at the Shaftesbury Hotel, Mount Pleasant. They will be moving into a new home in Knotty Ash when they return. The picture show Mr. Shankly with his daughter Jeanette and grand-children six-years-old Pauline and seven years-old Karen, while on the left is bridesmaid Margaret Callaway.
