The Woolwich Arsenal Club has been asked to explain why they have allowed their players to wear knickers which do not cover the knees. If this Association don’t take care they will find themselves laughed off the face of the earth. The next thing they will be up to will be negotiating the War Office to lengthen the Highland regiments’ kilts.
