That the Wolverhampton Wanderers have been scounting in South East Lancashire for good players, and have hit upon Davies and Doughty, of Newton Heath; that the Newton Heath Executive seem to be under a cloud at present in the matter of their players, first one and then another, leaving them to join clubs generally considered less able to pay good wages than the Railway Executive.
