It has been suggested that the prospectus has been sent to the members at Mr. John Houlding’s request. This is another of the misrepresentations which have been so freely circulated during the present controversy. Mr. Houlding has never expressed the smallest wish on the point, and the prospectus has been sent out without any request to that effect having come from him.
