At a meeting of the County Palatine League on Friday, the two groups were decided upon, and it will be a matter of disappointment that Everton and Liverpool are in separate divisions.
Northern Division: Blackburn Rovers, Burnley, Preston North End, Darwen and Liverpool.
Southern Division: Everton, Bury, Bolton Wanderers, Newton Heath and Accrington.
