Port Vale’s protest dismissed


May 2, 1894
A meeting of the Management Committee of the Football League was held last night. Burslem Port Vale lodged a protest against Mr. J.B. Brodie, the referee in their match vs Liverpool, but it was not entertained.

The receipt from the test match were: £109.
