The secretary of the Liverpool Theatrical Football Gala, which was organised by theatre- and music hall artists, has just forwarded to Mr. Fred Williams the sum of £45, to be divided as follows: – £25 for the Actors’ Benevolent Fund, £15 for the Music Hall Benevolent Fund, ad £5 for the Music Hall Sick Fund.
Cheques have been forwarded for these amounts to the secretaries of the respective charities. The amount raised by the exertions of the Liverpool public and the artists engaged there during pantomime time reached a considerable amount, and upwards of £400 has been distributed among the charities of the city.
