* Malcolm McVean is very reticent as to where he is going to next season, but we strongly fancy he returned to Liverpool to see what the Anfield club would pay him before accepting Dundee’s offer.
* J. Jackson, the Liverpool F.C, trainer of last season, goes to Leicester to take charge of the town club. We need only say that whilst here he performed his ardous and various duties successfully, and was one, if not the chief, means of bringing the Anfield club to its ancient position.
* The strong recommendation passed on Jackson, the old Liverpool coach, when he came from Loughborough, has lost nothing by his stay in this football centre. We wish him as much success in his new home.
