At the annual meeting of the Scottish Football League in Glasgow last night, the proposal of the Celtic that the two bottom clubs of the Senior Division drop out in favour of the two top Second Division clubs was unanimously passed, as also a new rules that a League club’s membership and ticketholders be restricted to 1,000. No change was made in the representation of either Division. Hibernians withdrew a motion tabled that all League drawings be halved. The official-bearers were re-elected.
