After this Lockley shot wide, and James put the ball into the home custodian’s hands. James at length by neat play got through and scored for Chirk. Lloyd equalised shortly afterwards. James put Chirk ahead. Interval – Chirk, 2 goals; Liverpool, 1. Result, Chirk, 2 goals; Liverpool, 1.
