The Liverpool team have been taking gentle exercise at St. Anne’s-on-Sea, near Lytham. The injured trio Hugh Morgan, Rab Howell, and John Walker – who were unable to play in last Saturday’s match, have made excellent progress towards recovery, and it is hoped will be able to play, though that has not yet been decided.
The ultimate selection of the players will take place this morning. Sam Raybould and Charles Satterthwaite, who both played a very fine game last Saturday in the match with Blackburn Rovers, will be in-eligible to play in the Cup-tie, both players having previously appeared in Cup contests for other teams.
