Speedy and able to tackle

Monday, April 2 – 1900
The only Anglo-Scot in the team vs. England is Raisbeck, a player of great promise. Possessed of great speed and able to tackle well, Alex Raisbeck’s only fault is his somewhat indifferent placing. His other qualities, however, are such as to place his worth above that of Christie (Queen’s Park) and Marshall (Celtic).
