John Glover transferred to Liverpool


Wednesday, May 9 – 1900
The Everton Football Club, yesterday, secured the transfer of Tom Booth, captain of the Blackburn Rovers, and one of the finest centre halves in the country, at the price of £300. The Rovers have also transferred John Glover, lately of New Brompton, and a year ago their reserve back, to Liverpool, and consented to the transfer of Andrew Mills, late of Brighton United, but still the Rovers’ League player, to Leicester Fosse.
