Liverpool Reserves visited Oswaldtwistle on Monday night, and had very much the best of a Lancashire Combination match. Liverpool had most of the play in the first half, and from splendid centre William Otty scored the first goal. The second half was again in Liverpool’s favour, and two more goals were added, one from a capital run down the field, and the other from a corner.
Result: Liverpool three goals, Oswaldtwistle Rovers nil.
