On the invitation of the directors of the Liverpool Football Club, permission has graciously been given by the commanding officer, Lieut.-Colonel Byrne, for the officers and men of the special service corps of the Irish Brigade to attend the League match on Saturday – Liverpool v. Sheffield United – at Anfield Road. No doubt football enthusiasts will give our khaki heroes an enthusiastic reception.
