Last night John McLean, ex-Liverpool and Vale of Leven back, signed on for Motherwell Football Club. He is a native of the Vale, and was reared in a Vale of Leven junior combination of some note. He played seven seasons for Vale of Leven, and was signed by Liverpool last year.
He is 26 years of age, a fine tackler, splendid defender of goals, and should prove an acquisition to Motherwell team.
