There is not a deal of fresh news to report in connection with the Liverpool Club. No new players have been obtained since our last list was published, but we understand that one of the Liverpool officials has been from home in quest of a well-recommended recruit.
The club’s balance-sheet for 1907-8 is in course of preparation, and will make its appearance next week. I is likely to prove a satisfactory one, especially in view of the fact that in the past season Liverpool did not occupy a high League position.
