The balance-sheet of the Liverpool F.C. has been issued. The loss on the year’s workings amounts to £187. In a total income of £11,978, the principal item is the gate receipts, which amounted to £11,716.
The Players’ wages amounted to £5,364, and the gate drawings to visitors and benefit matches to £1,666.
The assets set down the net value of the freehold and leasehold land at Anfield at £14,419, and players at £4,640, less £1,000 written off. £1,970 is due to the bank.
