Rochdale have just signed Albert Smith, of Bradford Park Avenue, a clever outside left, and two of his old Bradford colleagues will figure along with him in the forward line., viz. Jack Manning and Bob Grierson. A big effort is being made to secure a strong team. Nine new professionals and about a dozen amateurs have been signed.
