Robert Blanthorne, the centre forward Newcastle United secured from Grimsby Town, has been transferred to Hartlepools United. It will be recalled he fractured a leg in his only League game for the Newcastle club, against Bradford City, at the opening of the 1908-9 season. In the United Reserve team this season Blanthorne has demonstrated that his recovery is complete, and he should prove quite a capture for the Hartlepools club.
