Liverpool checking out Alex Thomson

June 1, 1912
Alex Thomson, the young centre forward of East Stirlingshire is expected to sign for Liverpool F.C. Mr. Tom Watson, the secretary of that club, is making a special journey to Scotland to see Thomson, who wishes to follow up his profession in Liverpool, and if that point is satisfactorily arranged, as anticipated, he will go to the Merseyside club.

    1. Hi Ken. Thanks for you comment. You have some football history there then. I know I spent some time to get confirmed if the surname was Thomson or Thompson. I will do an update on him and see if I can find additional articles.
