A long drive from Liverpool to Scarborough


July 10, 1914
An interesting party of football magnates left Liverpool this morning en route for Scarborough, where the Football Association Council is holding its summer meeting.

The party, which travelled by Dr James Baxter’s private motor-car, included the doctor himself, Mr. John McKenna (president of the Football League), and Mr. Tom Watson.
