A considerable sum of money has changed hands over John Macdonald during his career with Rangers, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Dundee. The Fife forward has now joined the Gordon Highlanders, so that the unfortunate Dundonians are the final losers. They parted with him some time ago after a not very satisfactory connection for either player or club.
