Sheffield United F.C., the winners of the Association Cup, lost £900 on last season’s working, but that amount includes £307 paid to war and League relief funds. The whole loss, including the portion traceable to cricket, is £2,050, the cricket ground expenses at Bramall Lane amounting to £3,349, of which £1,944 was due to repairs. Football wages absorbed £5,287 and bonuses for Cup victory £305, whilst the net Cup proportion of the receipts was £644.
