The Liverpool groundkeeper has had a find on the ground. During last Saturday’s interval scene one of the Tommies must have dropped his cigarette-case. It included a fair number of fragrant woodbines, and doubtless the loser was searching every pocket on Saturday night for the case and the “fags.” On the case was written “C.W. Payne.” If his eyes does not catch this paragraph I hope anyone who knows him will advise him to communicate with Mr. George Patterson at the Liverpool club.
