The directors of the Leeds City Football Club held a meeting at the Metropole Hotel last night, to consider the question of playing football next season. They decided before coming to a final decision on the matter, to await the result of the annual meeting of the Football League, which is to be held at Manchester on Monday next.
A resolution of sympathy with the relatives of the late Lieutenant Evelyn Lintott and Second-Lieutenant Major W. Booth was passed. Major Booth formerly played on a few occasions with the City second team.
