The prospect of another tousy tussle is high. Preston North End generally adopt similar ideas, and “push and go” is one of their fortes. North End have had some luck in searching round for help, and Liverpool may not look for an easy passage at Deepdale, as North End have this season shown that they can get goals.
The Anfield side includes Lucas at back, and retains Wadsworth at half back. Ashcroft’s appearance will be watched keenly.
