Liverpool will make one change in their team to oppose Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. Lewis is again available, and will resume at inside left. Team: Billy Connell; Ephraim Longworth, Billy Jenkinson; John Bamber, Alex Robertson, Donald Mackinlay; Dick Birchall, Thomas Green, Tommy Bennett, Harry Lewis, and George Schofield.
Connell, not Bickerstaffe, kept goal at Anfield last week – and right well he did it, too.
Sheffield Wednesday team to oppose Liverpool has one change from last week. Brelsford will appear as left back in place of Peach. The full team, therefor, reads: – Summers; Stapleton, Brelsford; Brittleton, Harrop, Smith; Pearson, Birkinshaw, Salt, Glennon, Spratt.
