Harry Chambers from Ireland

Wednesday, December 4 – 1918
Many times has the name Harry Chambers, of Liverpool, been quoted in the papers, but Liverpool folk have not recognised their man. Chambers, of Liverpool, is a forward, and is described as being Ireland’s best. He is a discharged soldier, and I have information that he may shortly be seen at Anfield.

Undoubtedly, Liverpool has the makings of a capital peace-time team, but it is at forward that there is an absence of height and weight. The small men predominate at the moment; therefore if Chambers comes along with his height and weight he should help to amend matters.
