Match postponed at Burnley

January 4, 1919
On Saturday Burnley had an attractive fixture with Liverpool, and expected to be able to place a stronger side in the field compared with the previous week, but the Storm Fiend prevented play. The ground was covered by about nine inches of snow, which was still falling, and play was out of the question, the official abandonment being made at 2 p.m. The Liverpool players reached Burnley.
