Ephrain Longworth is a most unlucky player and his opening game this season was sufficient to put him out of the game for some time. Since then Tom Lucas, the St. Helens lad, has deputised for him, as he did on numerous occasions last season. Lucas is a nicely-built fellow, with a hefty kick in each boot, and a sound judgment in regard to timing a tackle. And yet he is not a Longworth.
