The directors of the Liverpool club have decided to celebrate the winning of the League championship by inviting the shareholders to dinner on Wednesday. Improvements on the ground, left over from last season, are proceeding apace. The whole of the paddock in front of the shareholders’ stand is being concreted, retiring and tea rooms provided, whilst the centre of the stand, a long-felt want so far as Pressmen are concerned, will be supplied.
