Arthur Metcalf still score goals

February 16, 1924
Arthur Metcalf, who is scoring so freely with Aberdare, first came to the front with Stockport County, where he and Norman Rodgers were a pair of powerful raiders. Later he assisted Liverpool, and has moved about th country a lot since then. Last campaign he was the principal marksman for Accrington Stanley, and now looks like holding a similar honour for his new club.
