The South African Association football team to tour England next winter will leave Cape Town on the R.M.S. Briton on August 8. The selected players are as follows:
Goalkeepers: Arthur Riley and A.G. Finlayson.
Full backs: A.L. Berry, C.R. Thompson, G.W. Bruton, and F.C.A. Schwerin.
Half backs: R.P. Tuoby, G. Parry, A.J. Scott, E.E. Howell, and A. Skene.
Forwards: H. Eckstein, J. Green, Gordon Hodgson, N.S. Walker, D. Murray, J.P. West, C.A. Mason, H.C. Williams, and E.S.. Stuart.
All the players with the exception of Thompson, Walker, Williams, and Stuart, were born in South Africa. In selecting the team the selection committee travelled well over twenty thousand miles.
