Formerly a member of Liverpool and Southport Association football teams, Chris Harrington returned to Liverpool on Monday night in the Cunard liner Athenia. He has been playing football for New York Giants, but he has met with two accidents during his stay in the United States. He has broken two ribs and got glass in his left knee. He stated in an interview that he will have to undergo an operation to his knee if he is to resume football. American football is very rough, he added.
