Three Liverpool players transferred

The Liverpool F.C. parted with three players yesterday. David Davidson (centre half) going to Newcastle. John Lindsay (forward) to Swansea, Bill Murray (left half) to Barrow.

The fee Newcastle paid for Davidson is said to be £4,000. He will play for his new club against Huddersfield to-morrow. Davidson joined Liverpool from Forfar Athletic in July, 1928.

Lindsay, who joined Liverpool in April, 1928, from Rhyl, will play for Swansea against Barnsley to-morrow. Murray joined the Anfield club in December, 1927, from Clydebank.
