Alex Raisbeck appointed secretary-manager to Halifax Town

The directors of Halifax Town Football Club have appointed as secretary-manager Mr Alex Raisbeck, recently secretary-manager of Bristol City.

Mr Raisbeck has had experience both as a player and manager. He was in football 18 seasons, as a centre half back, having played for Liverpool, Hibernians and Partick Thistle. At the close of his football career he became manager of the Hamilton club for seven years, and later went to Bristol City.
