Bath City have signed Berwick Hall, a 22 year old centre-half, who, for the past two seasons has assisted Scarborough, who were champions of the Midland League last season. Hall comes with excellent credentials. He learned his football with Chester-le-Street in the North Eastern League, from whom he went to Liverpool, afterwards going to Scarborough. He is finely built for the position, being 6ft. in height and weighing 12 stone. (Bath Chronicle, 12-07-1930)
