William Devlin for Olympique Marseilles?

October 19, 1932
William Devlin, the ex-Cowdenbeath centre forward, is now in Glasgow waiting word about an engagement with a French football club. A week or two ago Willie was offered 2,000 francs (approximately £5) per week to play for a club in Paris. I mentioned that at the tie in this column. That offer he did not, however, accept because a better one is now to hand – an offer of £7 per week from a Marseilles club. Willie is waiting for particulars before he gives a final decision.
