Monday, November 21 – 1932
Millwall have tried Liverpool for the transfer of Jimmy Smith, the ex-Ayr United centre forward, now playing with Tunbridge Wells, outwith the League’s jurisdiction. Liverpool have stated £650 as their fee. Millwall have said O K, but then the Kent club have chipped in with a £650 request. Millwall directors are not to pay a double fee for Jimmy.
