Leyland Motors have secured two new players, Albert Shears, of Preston, a centre-half or right back, who previously assisted Preston North End, Liverpool, Barnsley, and Tranmere Rovers, and Seth Hurst, an outside right who played for Chorley in the Lancashire Combination last season. The position he will fill has been one of the weakest spots in the team.
