Rev. William Jordan appointed to St Cuthbert’s, Darlington

The Rev. William Jordan, rector of Slaidburn, near Clitheroe, who has been appointed to St Cuthbert’s, Darlington, is an old First Division footballer, formerly playing for West Bromwich Albion, and originator of the famous Trough of Bowland services for motorists and cyclists.
