Ted Adams, the Burnley F.C. goalkeeper whose home is at Anfield, Liverpool, was married at Chester yesterday to Miss Doris May Ridgewell, of 68, Hough Green, Chester.
The ceremony was performed by the Rector of Handbridge, the Rev. A.W. Sarson, and the bride, who was given away by her stepfather, Mr. J.G. Goddard, wore a gown of floral crepe de Chine, with a navy blue lace coat, and a navy net skull cap. Her bouquet was of pink roses and lilies of the valley.
Miss Maud Goddard, her bridesmaid, wore a gown of powder blue angora, with hat to tone, and she also had a spray of pink roses. Mr. Marcus Adams, brother of the bridegroom,. Was the best man.
The honeymoon is being spent in London and the South.
