Jack Shield transferred to Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed on professional forms a six-feet amateur international left half-back, Jack Shield, who has been with Bishop Auckland for three seasons.

Shield, who played for England against Wales in an amateur international match two seasons ago, has assisted Liverpool in a number of Central League games and one First Division match.
