Two Merseyside footballers were married on Saturday. They were Jack Jones, Everton F.C.’s right back of Terminus-road, New Ferry, who married Miss Doris Gratrix at Bromsborough Parish Church, Wirral, and Jack Balmer, Liverpool F.C.’s inside forward, who married Miss Edith Jones, daughter of Mr. E.J. Jones, of Graylands-road, Walton, Liverpool, at St. James’s Church, West Derby, Liverpool.
