John Browning, of Liverpool F.C., has joined Gillingham F.C. Browning is a left half back, aged 24, a native of Scotland, and has been four years with Liverpool, for whom he frequently played in the first team.
Manager David Jack has taken another ex-Liverpool schoolboy player from this city. The boy is 18-years-old Vincent McGrane, former St. Sylvester Street School and city boys’ team star. McGrane, who will probably be preserved with as a centre forward, is 5ft. 10in. and weighs 11st. 4lb.
