Shareholders of Liverpool Football Club will have their big opportunity of congratulating their directors, officials and players on a great season when they gather for the annual meeting of the club next month.
Chairman Mr. Richard Lawson Martindale states that the directors have fixed the annual meeting of shareholders for Thursday, June 24 – four days before the annual meeting of the various football bodies take place in London.
This means that the balance-sheets and reports will be in the hands of the shareholders by June 16 or 17. And you can rest assured that the recipients will be in for a pleasant surprise. I doubt if there is a club in the country which fared better financially than Liverpool.
