David Pratt manager of Port Vale

Port Vale have appointed Mr. David Pratt, former Yeovil & Petters, Hearts, Notts County, and Clapton Orient manager, to a similar position with them. A flying-officer, Mr. Pratt will take up his new post on his release from the Royal Air Force. In his playing days he was a prominent half-back with Glasgow Celtic, Liverpool, and Bury.
