C.S.M. Matt Busby, Liverpool and Scottish international wing half, who is an instructor at the Royal Military College, has been released from his engagement as post-war coach with Liverpool to allow him to negotiate for the managementship of a Scottish League club. Now 34, Busby, who was originally destined for the teaching profession, is still one of the finest half-backs playing. He was first capped 11 years ago, but has been first choice for his country this season.
